Project ECHO Consult Series
What is Project ECHO?
Project ECHO is a bi-weekly online virtual clinic that allows primary care providers to get psychiatric consultation for their patients. The providers join the program via webcam on Wednesdays from 12-1 Central Time to review about 15 minutes of didactic information followed by about 45 minutes of case study reviews. Participants present patient cases from their practice and subject matter experts advise. Subject matter experts will also teach on topics of discussion that include patient health questionnaires, depression and depression interventions, antidepressant algorithms, suicide, harm reduction, substance use disorder (SUD) and SUD interventions. Continuing medical education (CME) credits are not offered.
Participants= open to all types of primary care clinicians and will focus on consultations.
Focus= Consultations for support; Free Flowing.
