National Center for Mobility Management Hosting Upcoming Webinars
The National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) is hosting two webinars that may be of interest to either your organization or your constituencies. The webinars are very timely relative to recent conversations in Missouri and the attention being directed at transportation barriers to healthcare. If you are interested in learning more, or participating, please follow the links below for additional information.
Feb. 14 – Inclusive Planning and Shared-Use Mobility: Ensuring Diversity of Perspective in a Changing Transportation Environment: This webinar will give a brief summary of shared-use mobility in the US and it will cover in detail a pilot program between Brookdale Senior Living Solutions and Lyft. Discussion will relate to the questions of how to ensure that all people can access cost-effective, on-demand services and strategies that can be used to include perspectives of older adults to inform the planning process? This webinar is presented by NCMM, the Administration for Community Living’s Transit Planning for All project (ACL) and the Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC). Click here for more information.
Feb. 21 – Safe Harbors Regulation and NEMT. This webinar will discuss updated rules from the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General affecting non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). The rules provide opportunities for partnering with healthcare providers and institutions. Details will be posted soon on the NCMM webinar page and on the LinkedIn group.
